FIVE A'S Story

Our Roots

At Five A’s Restaurant, every dish tells a story—one of flavor, culture, and family. Rooted in rich Caribbean culinary traditions and inspired by the island’s vibrant essence, our journey began with a deep love for sharing authentic island cuisine with our local community.

What Five A’s Means

The name Five A’s honors each member of the Almeda family—a heartfelt tribute to the people and values that guide us.

It also reflects the five principles we live by: Access, Awareness, Affordability, Availability, and Acceptability. These values shape everything we do, from the way we prepare our food to the way we welcome our guests.

A Taste of Home!

We serve bold, soulful dishes like crispy cod fritters, savory griot, and golden fried plantains—seasoned to perfection and prepared with heart. Whether you're craving the comfort of familiar flavors or discovering Caribbean cuisine for the first time, Five A’s offers a taste of home… or a vacation, depending on who you are. Come in, relax, and enjoy a true taste of the islands.
